Che Guevara: 39 Years of Hype
Thirty-nine years ago this week, Ernesto “Che” Guevara got a major dose of his own medicine. Without trial he was declared a murderer, stood against a wall and shot. Historically speaking, justice has rarely been better served. If the saying “What goes around comes around” ever fit, it’s here.
Required reading for all the self-proclaimed idiots wearing the Che t-shirts, tattoos and bumper stickers.

Volcanic Smoke Rings (Very cool photos)
Smoke rings have been seen at volcanoes before but never in such detail. Looking like the hoops produced by smokers, the hoops can hang in the air for many minutes. The volcanologists estimate the hoops to be about 200m across and up to 1000m above the ground. How they are formed is a mystery that these pictures may help solve.

Spectacular in-flight photos of x-country trip.
An amazing set of pictures taken on a trip from California to Oshkosh (for AirVenture 2006). See images of Salt Lake, Devil’s Tower, Mt. Rushmore and a huge cow. If you scroll a while, you can even see a rainbow and a lighting bolt on the same picture. Awesome!
